APAC Ltd - Training in Play Therapy

Therapeutic play, (including play therapy), is a well established discipline based upon a number of psychological theories and neurobiological evidence. Research, both qualitative and quantitative, shows that it is highly effective in many cases. www.playtherapy.org.uk/

Recent research by Play Therapy UK (PTUK) an organisation affiliated to Play Therapy International (PTI), suggests that between 74% and 83% of the children referred to play therapy will show a positive change.

The APAC Post Graduate courses have been clinically accredited by PTUK, PTI and IBECPT. They are validated for academic standards by the Canterbury Christ Church University as part of the MA in Practice based Play Therapy.

Packages and prices

Here at the CEN we practice Gif-tiv-ism, which means that we don't charge for our RJ training courses. Instead we ask you to donate a gift of payment to us. We ask you to assess the value of ours and your gift in at least one of 4 ways if not in all the following ways.

(If your company/organisation will pay as part of your CPD training then we can provide an invoice following a conversation with yourself or your business unit to  establish a fair price.)

You can measure it by:

  • the quality of the training that you receive; and/or
  • the prices that other training providers charge; and/or
  • the social impact that you feel the CEN makes; and/or
  • how much impact you want your gift to make to the communities that RJ intends to serve.

Our course is being provided by Access4Education and is registered as a Restorative Justice Council Trainer of Trainers and Facilitators delivering to 'The RJ Principles', 'The Best Practice Guidance' and 'The National Occupational Standards'. We provide certification to participants on completion.
