Training manual for the establishment of child development and disability services in Bangladesh

‘...a template for the establishment of newer services within outreach populations...’

From Professor Naila Zaman Khan:

‘The Clinical Neurosciences Center, Bangladesh Protibondhi Foundation is launching a  two-volume 1000 pages “TRAINING MANUAL FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND DISABILITY SERVICES IN BANGLADESH”.

‘The manual is the culmination of three decades of services, training and experience of establishing Child Development Centers (Shishu Bikash Kendra in Bangla) within 24 government and non-government hospitals across Bangladesh by a team of multidisciplinary professionals.

‘It is hoped that this manual will provide a template for the establishment of newer services within outreach populations and children most at-risk for disabilities who remain excluded from mainstream society and services.

‘Due to the changed global and national scenario for the COVID19 Pandemic, priority has been given to the electronic version of the manual (https://www.bpfbd.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/10-page-1.pdf).
