Call for manuscripts for ‘Childhood Education: Innovations’ on Education Diplomacy
The March 2018 issue of Childhood Education: Innovations will focus exclusively on Education Diplomacy. Simply put, Education Diplomacy is using skills of diplomacy to build bridges that advance education by transforming education systems, policies, agendas, or education practice.
The objective of this timely issue is to showcase Education Diplomacy approaches that inspire educators to build bridges across education divides and solve education challenges at the local, national, regional, and global levels.
Educators around the world must acquire new sets of skills that go beyond traditional education leadership and advocacy. Education diplomacy borrows skills from conventional diplomacy but uses these diplomatic skills to help educators bridge divides in education, respond to education challenges, and build relationships and approaches that collaboratively and positively influence the direction of education in the 21st century and beyond.
