The Tashkent Declaration – for early childhood education across the world

Representatives from around the world recently gathered at the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

On the final day of the conference, officials adopted the Tashkent Declaration, a ground-breaking document that sets the international agenda for early childhood education through 2030.

The Tashkent Declaration outlines guiding principles focused on the following key areas: 

• Equitable and Inclusive Quality ECCE Services for All
• ECCE Personnel
• Innovation for Advancing Transformation
• Policy, Governance, and Finance
