The Society aims to advance clinical and scientific knowledge of hypertensive diseases and medical disorders in pregnancy and to foster collaboration with other regional and international societies interested in hypertension in pregnancy and obstetric medicine.SOMANZ Mission Statement: To improve outcomes for all women with medical disorders related to pregnancy; To promote clinical excellence in pregnancy-related medical disorders through collaboration between health practitioners; To foster the highest levels of training and education in Obstetric Medicine; To provide a supportive academic environment and to encourage basic and clinical research.
