Support through transition

sitting_pretty_2 I am not a professional but a parent of a child with severe disabilities who wants to help other families navigate their way through the Transition process from children's services into adult services.

I have set up a blog site called

- not to promise miracles because I can't, but to help parents and carers with disabled youngsters between the ages of 14 -19 who may be feeling stressed or isolated to see a view of someone who has been there, done that and got the t.shirt.

I would welcome suggestions and comments from families who may have found their own solutions and would like to share them with others.
