Free online Healthy Relationship Resource from New Zealand – and many free hard copies for NZ schools

nzonline100We have recently launched the latest version of the Healthy Relationship Resource for disabled teens and adults.  The resource provides practical tools to build resiliency and prevent bullying, violence and abuse, is suitable for the classroom, groups or individuals.  It was developed over 6 years, in collaboration with users with disabilities.

Several recent independent evaluations found that the programme was of high quality, effective, easy to follow, and enjoyable for students! These studies found that:

- educators and parents liked the easy application

- consistent behaviour change was achieved

- a real need is met

- it worked for people with autism

- it is appropriate to New Zealand and Pacific cultures

The entire interactive resource is available, at no cost on our website www.kidpower.org.nz/healthyrelationships

We have 100 free hard copies to give away to NZ-based schools, groups or individuals, who are interested in giving us feedback within 6-weeks of receiving the resource.

Please spread the word!
