Challenging behaviour conference and other autism conferences and training courses

This conference, organised by The National Autistic Society, will discuss the causes of anxiety for people with autism and the types of behaviour which can be used to express this anxiety. International expert, Dr Wenn Lawson (formerly Wendy Lawson), will speak on the impact of sensory overload and what you can do to help. Renowned author, Phoebe Caldwell, will be talking about intensive interaction and how it can be used to help more challenging individuals.

Interactive seminars will focus on positive approaches to supporting people with autism and practical solutions around good design, as well as key issues such as getting positive behaviour support plans right and self-injurious behaviour.
