Social Care TV is an online channel for everyone involved in the social care sector

SCTV (London, UK) brings to life the work and lives of people involved in all aspects of the social care sector, through a series of short films and links to multimedia and e-learning resources.

It offers access to video-based training resources and general interest programmes, reflecting the issues, challenges and rewards in social care practice. Three current videos: 

  1. What is social work? Services for older people - This film focuses on the very rewarding, diverse but complex role of a social workers working in an adult's services team. 
  2. What is social work? Emergency Duty Team - This film focuses on the very rewarding but complex role of a social worker within an Emergency Duty Team. 
  3. What is social work? Children and families - This film follows the work of a children's services social work social worker.
