Uganda Polio Project. Do you have equipment to send?

Truck3The majority of the disabled in Africa live in poverty; that is they live on less than US$1.25 a day. In Africa, people with impairments, whether physical or cognitive, are often marginalized from society contributing to their 'disablement'.  With a small but committed team of multi-disciplinary, volunteer health professionals, our project aims to recycle orthoses and mobility aids from the UK for use by the disabled in Uganda. This also includes machinery, tools and materials so that orthoses can be adapted and manufactured to individual needs.  All treatment will be delivered free of charge. Website here.
