The long hard struggle for effective integrated child and family support for all who want it. Are we winning or losing?

During recent weeks I have posted a series of three parts of an article ‘Early Child and Family Support: Principles and Prospects. For parents and practitioners who are impatient for change’

Some good work is happening in various countries but it seems to me we are standing still or losing ground in the world as a whole. My article identified some major obstacles. Families as a group can be an oppressed minority, support services in the West can tend to be institutional and the general public are kept in ignorance of the situation.
