The Australian Nurse-Family Partnership Program (ANFPP)

This programme is a part of the Australian Government's commitment to improve the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The ANFPP supports women pregnant with an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander child to improve their own health and the health of their baby.

The ANFPP will also help with the baby's development in their early years. Under the ANFPP, trained nurses visit families in their own homes to help them grow a stronger family. The ANFPP delivers assistance for mothers and fathers to help them become the best parents they can be.
