Undiagnosed Children’s Day on Friday 29 April - UK

Swan80SWAN UK (Syndromes Without A Name) is the only dedicated support for families of children with undiagnosed genetic conditions in the UK. Approximately 6,000 children are born every year with a genetic condition that is likely to remain undiagnosed. Without a diagnosis it is difficult for families to know what the future holds for their child – if they will walk, talk or even what their life expectancy will be.

On Friday 29 April we will be holding our annual awareness day, Undiagnosed Children’s Day

Undiagnosed Children’s Day is a chance to inform people as well as reaching out and letting families know that they aren’t alone and support is out there. Just a small activity can make a big impact. Maybe you’d like to fundraise for SWAN UK by doing a bake sale, a sponsored challenge event, getting your child’s school involved in a mufti day or reaching out to your local shopping centre to see how they might get involved. We’d also love to have you involved in the lead up and on the day on social media.
