Major international conference discussing practice and research in early childhood care and development – Spain, April 2016
This is an event in which professionals and families of children with disabilities will present effective and efficient practices in line with current scientific evidence. Among the speakers we will have international researchers in the field and professionals working in early care centers.
It is organized in Valencia, Spain, on the Campus Capacitas-UCV, through its Early Childhood Center (CAT), which has been pioneer in the transformation towards the development of professional practices based on scientific evidence. In its six years of experience, it has become a reference for other centers across Spain, advising and providing training for professionals and families of more than 50 national institutions.
Since last year our director is member of the Board of the European Association for Early Intervention (Eurlyaid), the first time there is Spanish representation in it, since its inception 25 years ago.
The scientific proposal presented in this meeting has been organized by Eurlyaid and full inclusion (National Entity field of intellectual and developmental disabilities) and could be is a great opportunity to review current practices and ensure the transfer of knowledge and professionals from all over Spain, thereby enhancing care that improves the quality of life of children and their families. Besides, it is an excellent excuse to visit and enjoy the beautiful city of Valencia.
