CBM and the new online WHO MiNDbank platform

CBM, the international disability charity has participated in the development of the World Health Organisation's (WHO) MiNDBANK online platform which aims to facilitate debate, dialogue, advocacy and research by bringing a wide range of materials in one easily-accessible place. 

This will help local and international advocates to promote national reform. 

Kirsty Smith, Chief Executive of CBM UK said, 

CBM works with many partners where mental health services are poor or confined to a single out-dated hospital. People with psychosocial disabilities may have limited access to services and may be excluded from full participation in community life, particularly in developing countries. CBM and its partners take a community-based approach in tackling these issues. These new resources will help CBM's partners as they work to improve the situation.
