The 10th annual conference organised by parents and professionals in partnership. Over the years we have achieved a high profile in the North West, having attracted many world renowned speakers in the field of Autism. The conference aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the condition with opportunity to explore more specific issues through workshops. This year is no exception - we are delighted to welcome a remarkable line up of speakers including Professor Gillian Baird, Professor Francesca Happe, Lynne Moxon , Philip Whitaker and our chair Charlotte Moore among others.
Some of the topics the conference will tackle include a review of the new NICE guidelines; how we can identify strengths and attributes in individuals with autism and match them to suitable working environments; dealing with Challenging Behaviour; Sex and sexuality ; adult services and adult social care; and personalisation.
