Escape the Trap - Teenage relationship abuse programme for professionals who support young people. Led by Cathy Press. 13th – 15th June 2018 Sudbury UK

trapThe learning can be applied not only to young women, but also to young males who find themselves victim/vulnerable to the same experiences.

This 3 day facilitator training, independently reviewed & certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Guidelines, is for practitioners working with teenagers vulnerable to relationship abuse, grooming and CSE and who have an enthusiasm to enhance the lives of those they work with by helping them to explore their expectations of relationships.

This is particularly relevant at a time when the rapid advancement and use of social media as a means to escalate levels of coercive control and abuse within young relationships is emerging as a significant factor for the young people we work with.

Professionals will have the scope to facilitate the Escape the Trap group programme which is also an ASDAN certified course or apply learning in a one to one capacity.
